Welcome to Bijles Exacte Vakken Arnhem!
If you are having trouble with mastering one or more science subjects (chemistry, physics, and mathematics) or if you want to practice for your exam, I would love to help you through tutoring. I tutor most of my pupils in Dutch, but because I have lived and worked in North America for nearly ten years, I am perfectly able to help you in English. This can be useful if you attend a bilingual school or if you are a native English speaker.
Method
Tutoring and exam training are always done in a one-on-one setting, so you get the attention that you deserve. We will spend most of the time on making (homework) assignments or test exams. I will show you by example how to complete an assignment in a logical and clear way. Then I will watch how you work and give you immediate feedback on issues where improvement is necessary/useful. This way you won’t repeat the same mistakes over and over again.

Flexibility
Appointments for tutoring can be scheduled on an as-needed basis. You don’t need to enter into an agreement in which you take a fixed number of sessions per week or month.
Location
The tutoring location is in the center of Arnhem and is easily accessible by bike, by bus and by train. If you live in Arnhem, I can come to your home on the first appointment, so that your parents can meet me. Online tutoring is also a convenient option if you’re not able to come to Arnhem.
Rates and Conditions
My hourly rate is € 30,-. Payment needs to be done immediately after every appointment, either in cash or through bank transfer. Cancellation/rescheduling of an appointment can be done until 24 hrs before an appointment, and the reason needs to be provided. When an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hrs notice, the appointment needs to be paid for.
